On behalf of our customer, a renown Swiss-made watch brand, we are looking for a PR Manager

Job description


As a member of the International Marketing department of our customer, you will be responsible for the PR strategy and the development of the brand.

  • Suggest, draft and lead the PR content of the Press Releases and Website platforms (presscorner and newsletter)
  • Liaise with Product Department to receive all the information needed to draft product press releases
  • Coordinate the external monitoring agency (collect the international press clippings and provide a monthly international analysis)
  • Manage operational aspects such as analysis / measures, reports and logistics
  • Execute all PR / Marketing related copywriting tasks (texts for international and regional PR and Events activities)
  • Provide Q&As for interviews, answer international media requests
  • Support the digital and other marketing teams with all copywriting needs (websites, social media, catalogues, advertising, etc.)
  • Supervise and execute PR / Marketing related translations in collaboration with external agency
  • Collect local needs and source solutions suiting the global strategy
  • Manage the PR watch collection and coordinate with markets for shootings / media requests
  • Benchmark competition in PR / Events / Sponsoring activities
  • Provide support to meet the teams goals and objectives
  • Think outside the box and bring new opportunities to the table
  • Management of PR team (1 person) in order to maintain coherence and achieve results

Professional requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
  • At least 10 years of public relations experience (with some agency experience)
  • Proficiency with Social Media applications and tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English, French (working languages). Good knowledge of German an advantage.
